Our 30-year old Williams & James compressors had performed well for many years but had finally reached the end of their expected service life. In the potential absence of direct replacement compressors for our old units, we were faced with a major project to specify, tender, purchase, engineer and install a new high pressure air supply for our station’s switchyards.
Instead, Wraith Engineering was able to supply and arrange the complete shipment from the U.K. to Canada of seven skillfully re-manufactured and upgraded Williams & James compressors for us to directly replace the units we were retiring.
Wraith’s staff were knowledgeable, helpful and assisted us from the time of our first contact with them through to handling questions once the compressors arrived in Canada and our millwrights began the installation of them into our system.
